Thank you, Chrissy, for reading and taking the time to respond. I admit to being a bit of an idealist and subsequently becoming disillusioned when entering the business world of UX. We like to think we change at least a small part of the world through design. I have often found the changes we make are more central to corporate profits than making the lives of humans better. This occurs most often through organizational behavior and the metrics they put in place, which change the products we design — the subject of my next article.
