Thanks, Rasterfield. I’ve seen organizations where it is worth attempting to change the way they approach design. I’ve seen others where it is better to just move on down the line to the next job. Overall, I think this has to be approached from a usability perspective. If you can convince key people in your organization that your proposal will make their life better or easier, I think you’ll find less resistance.
