That’s the key: We are all “trying to make something awesome.” The problem occurs when our egos get in the way and we think we have a corner on the design or development market. The best products I’ve built have been built with teams from different disciplinary backgrounds. They could help me see and understand the things I didn’t have the experience to consider. In my experience, none of these other disciplines want to sit around working in Sketch all day to develop the flows and screens. They aren’t trying to take my job or subvert me. They are simply trying to help design a better product with realistic assumptions.

Thanks for the comments, Kristi, and thank you for reading!
