Yes, true, sometimes. But, my point is that what impacts the user should be prioritized over pixel perfection and minute details that will not impact the user. I’m not suggesting we never address the details or little things — only that we balance our energy expenditure. If “UX is not UI” as so many in our profession state, then why should we spend so much time on the UI over the user experience? This is a good comment because it proves a point I am making in this article and will make in future articles. This is an organizational problem — not just a UX problem. The problem we have in UX is we often let the organization lead us by the ring in our nose.
